It has been a strange winter with bouts of spring mixed in throughout. The animals and the people have weathered it well.
We have half a dozen nanny goats ready to kid this spring. Our lovely old Holstein is keeping us in milk. There are two beef steer running around the pasture along with a couple of meat goats. The first pigs are at the butcher for processing. We have rabbits in the freezer and babies in the cages.
We have added two ordained ministers to provide wedding or funeral services. We even held our first wedding in December. Stay tuned for new developments.
The first babies of the year have arrived. We have 18 little bunnies bouncing around their mama's cages and one set of twin goat kids already in the kid barn.
We believe in working together to achieve more. That's why our Founders worked together to purchase the property and establish the cooperative. Our founding members, Divisions and Corporate Associates work to bring a variety of goods and services to rural NE Washington.
